Collaboration with NYC-based apparel brand, Book Works.
Each hat was individually hand-dyed
Dyes used:
Cochineal - Red, Purple (w/ addition of Iron),
Cutch Extract - Brown,
Oak Gallnut - Light Grey/GreyOsage - Yellow, Olive (w/ addition of Iron),
Weld - Honey Yellow
Myrobolan - Yellow, Black Brown
The hats were first mordanted with Alum Acetate. Soda Ash & Iron were used to shift the colors.
